During World War I, hundreds of thousands of Slovene conscripts were drafted into the Austro-Hungarian Army. However, the Slovene refugees in Italian camps were treated as state enemies and several thousand died of malnutrition and diseases between 1915 and 1918.

It’s time to swing into spring during our Spring Fling Dance this Saturday. Open at 5 pm, admission is $7/$17 with Fried and BBQ chicken dinner with Cole Slaw, 16 and under with an adult, FREE, children’s meal of hotdog with mac and cheese with chips $3. Dinner at 6 pm, music by The Time Bandits from 7-11 pm. RSVP appreciated but, not required. All proceeds go to the maintenance and upkeep for the Nash.
